Structure and design for strength and comfort
The superstructure of the building is made of diaphragms and reinforced concrete pillars arranged in both directions, in a frame system, located on the contour, in the area of the stairs and elevator houses. Over the horizontal elements in the floors and beams, as well as over the 13-15 cm thick monolithic reinforced concrete slabs, a 3 cm layer of extruded polystyrene is applied for thermal insulation.
The residential complex with two staircases ensures a high degree of structural strength, comfort and functionality for residents. The external closures are made of heat-insulating masonry, and the windows and doors are equipped with PVC frames and heat-insulating glazing. Access between levels is provided by stairs with straight reinforced concrete ramps and two elevators for each staircase. Interior and exterior partitions use Porotherm bricks with 10 cm polystyrene, resulting in 35-45 cm thick exterior walls and 25 cm inter-apartment walls for increased acoustic and thermal comfort.
